Columbia Threadneedle doubles up at Brentford HQ

Columbia Threadneedle Investments has secured a second significant letting at Vantage London, its new complex development in Brentford, west London, CoStar News understands.

GL Assessment has agreed to take 13,500 sq ft on the first floor of the building on a 10-year lease. It will pay £25.50 per sq ft.

The letting follows on from Cineworld’s recent decision to take approximately 18,000 sq ft on the ground, 8th and 9th floors for its new UK head office and private cinema auditorium, on a 10 year lease.
Both tenants are relocating from Chiswick and join existing tenant Agfa Films at Vantage London, a 12 storey, grade A office building totalling 117,263 sq ft.

The prominent headquarters building on the Chiswick flyover, just off Junction 1 of the M4, has recently undergone a major refurbishment to provide high specification offices.

The refurbishment also included the addition of a 24/7 gymnasium, a restaurant/café and break out facilities on the ground floor. The restaurant will open in September. The landlord is providing a shuttle bus service to and from nearby Gunnersbury tube station.
