Hanover Green success at OAS Golf Day
Hanover Green’s Zoers wins inaugural OAS golf day
Hanover Green’s Richard Zoers won the inaugural Office Agents Society Golf Day yesterday at a sell-out tournament at Burhill Golf Club in Walton-on-Thames in Surrey.
Zoers won the tournament, which was attended by 68 office agency members of the society, by scoring 46 points off a handicap of 20.
David Cuthbert and Will Oldrieve were the two Hanover Green team members who let Richard Zoers and Kevin Hawthorn ( 36 points) down in the team event.
But they were not last. Henry Harrison of Knight Frank won the “best trier” award with 10 points.
The Maris co-sponsored tournament was played by teams of four and kicked off with a shot-gun start.
OAS chairman Shaun Wolfe said: “For a first event of its kind it was tremendously well supported and we look forward to holding it again next year.”
The OAS has 800 members.
