High-end crockery maker agrees West End fitting

Stylish tableware maker Steelite International has agreed a letting with British Land for office space on Berners Street, W1 in the West End of London.

Steelite International has signed a five-year lease for the 418 sq ft mezzanine level at 16-18 Berners Street, which is owned by British Land. Founded in 1983, Steelite makes crockery and tableware in Stoke-on-Trent and exports it to high-end restaurants in 120 countries.

It is to pay an annual rent of £15,808 for the space, and its deal includes an eight-month rent-free period. The 28,235 sq ft building is located between Oxford Street and Goodge Street, and within walking distance of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus stations.
