    Over 40 years' experience in central London office agency, investment and development consultancy. Advising clients on the purchase and sale of sites, buildings and land and the funding of development schemes.

  • Career History

    Started at Clive Lewis & Partners in 1985. Became an associate of De Groot Collis in 1987 and joined Hodnett Martin Smith in 1990, becoming a director in 1995. Following the sale of the company in 2005 to DTZ, was a director in the West End agency team. Jointly formed Hanover Green in September 2009.

  • Recent Experience

    Refurbishment/Disposal - 93-95 Southwark Street, SE1
    Advised Standard Life on the refurbishment and letting strategy on two buildings totalling 16,900 sq ft and 9,500 sq ft.

    Acquisition - 24 Kingsway, WC2
    Advised the London School of Economics on the acquisition of a 100,000 sq ft building as a new educational/administration centre.

    Disposal - 230 Blackfriars Road, SE1
    Advising CBRE UK Property Fund in letting over 45,000 sq ft in three transactions on leases until 2025.

    Acquisition and advice - Bolsover Street, W1
    Advising on the purchase of the former National Orthopaedic Hospital and providing on-going advice for this office and residential site.

    Disposal - Covent Garden Portfolio, WC2
    Advised ING on the proposed investment sale of 8 prime Covent Garden buildings with a total approximate value of £60m.

    Acquisition - 23 Newman Street, W1
    Advised Property Merchant Group and P&O Properties in the acquisition of approximately 30,000 sq ft of offices to convert to residential use for £16m.

    Disposal - Spring House, Holloway Road, N7
    Advised a private family trust on over 50,000 sq ft of D1/ Educational premises on a new 10 year lease.
