Walthamstow Tramworks sells for £7.75 million

Acting on behalf of a private client , Hanover Green have sold the freehold of the Tramworks, Hatherley Mews, London, E17.

Originally dating back to the 1880’s, these converted stables were used for the construction and repair of London electric trams until the early 1950’s benefiting from its close proximity to Walthamstow Central Station. Today the 0.5 acre site encompasses a multi let freehold office, restaurant and residential investment providing some 22,721 sq ft GIA in 11 Mews buildings. The investment sold for £7.75 million reflecting a NIY of 5.12%.
