Aviva Investors have sold the freehold interest in 227 Shepherds Bush Road to a private UK buyer for in excess of £9.725 million reflecting a net initial yield of 5.60%. The property comprises 12,942 sq ft of accommodation and is let to 4 tenants and is within 300m of Hammersmith underground station. Aviva Staff Pension Fund had owned the property for over 15 years and have recently undertaken a significant refurbishment programme in the building and benefitted from the resultant rental growth prior to sale.
