Tapping into strong demand for Thames Valley tech and incubator space, we’ve just completed the c.£17.2m sale of the Reading Enterprise Centre on behalf of our client Aviva Investors, reflecting a net initial yield of 8.8%.
The 55,000 sq ft building – which is let to the University of Reading for another 11 years, with RPI-linked rent reviews in place – was sold to French investment firm Iroko’s Zen fund.
Operating as an incubator space on the University’s Whiteknights Campus, the centre plays a key role in fostering innovation and supporting a thriving knowledge-based community.
Hanover Green’s Jonathan Webb advised Aviva on the sale, while Savills’ Craig McLaren advised Iroko.
