Following the purchase last year of 15 Bonhill Street, London, EC2, a 110,000 sq ft multi let office building, Resolution have just sign a new lease with American Express on the 16,000 sq ft first floor. The new lease has been taken outside the act and incorporates flexibility to suit both landlord and tenant.
The space is dated and Resolution are rebranding the building to complement the TMT offering in Shoreditch. A statutory renewal did not suit their strategy for this building and being unable to withhold consent to the grant of a new lease, they have secured a new lease outside the act on flexible terms.
