Demand for West End office investments continues

West End specialist WELPUT (West End of London Property Trust) has bought 7-8 St Martins Place near Trafalgar Square for £41m. The majority of the 48,000 sq ft office building is let to Redwood Publishing on a four year lease. The two ground floor retail units are let to the Post Office and Pret A Manger. The purchase reflects a 5.75% net initial yield Peter Trinder, investment director at Hanover Green says: “This deal highlights the continued strength of demand for central London office investment properties.”
