Hanover Green Agree Office Acquisition in World’s ‘Smartest Building’

Hanover Green have advised Steer Group with their acquisition of 17,300 sq ft of office space at Southworks, London SE1. Working across cities, infrastructure and transport, Steer is a global business consultancy helping people, places and economies thrive.

Southworks, a Grade A office development by MiddleCap Real Estate, has recently been voted the world’s “smartest building” in the people’s choice category of the 2021 Real Estate Future Proof Awards. It was also the first building in the UK to secure a Platinum Smart Building Certification, and only the second in the world. The certification recognises buildings that have smart tech infrastructure in place to evaluate a building’s behaviour and performance.
