Hanover Green Golf Day Is A Classic

Hanover Green recently held its annual golf day for clients and friends at Tandridge golf course in Surrey.

Although the weather forecast was for showers, the day was unpredictably sunny and the Hanover Green branded umbrellas saw little use. The course itself was in pristine condition – or at least it started that way !!!!

The green jacket for the individual winner went to Max Holliday of WPP on 42 points, followed by Shaftesbury’s Tom Welton (37 pts) and Richard Saul of CIT (36 point).

Tom Welton was winner of the nearest the pin competition and Aberdeen Asset Management’s Dominic Russells 300 yard drive on the 9th won him the Longest Drive. Simon Hall of Hanover Green won the award for most time spent
in the rough!

Results in the Afternoon Greensomes Category were:

1. Andy Merry (Madlin & Maddison) and Kevin Hawthorn (HG)
2. Jonathan Lawes (Cube) and Neil Procter (HG)
3. Max Holliday (WPP) and Giles Difford (Prudential)

Hanover Green would like to thank all the particpants for making the day a great success with a special thank you to the catering staff for laying on the usual excellent lunch.

Finally, to the groundsmen and greenkeepers – we would like to extend our apologies.
