King’s Hill Largest Letting

Russet, Tonbridge and Malling’s largest social housing provider, has taken an extra 17,537 sq ft in its new headquarters 32 Tower View, in what is King Hill’s and Kent’s largest commercial property transaction so far this year.

Russet’s move to Kings Hill this year will allow the housing provider to overhaul its customer services, streamline its operations and pass on a series of cost-saving benefits to its 16,000 customers. The new headquarters will replace Russet’s Borough Green, Larkfield and Tonbridge offices with one central premises where Russet’s staff can meet with their customers.

Russet’s group partner Invicta Telecare, which provides telecare services to more than 2,000 people in Tonbridge and Malling, will share the building.

“Russet’s commitment to its residents is what inspired this exciting move. We are extremely proud to be boosting our service to residents with the opening of a brand new headquarters this year,” said Russet’s managing director Denise Reeves.

“Taking control of the whole building will really let us improve the level of on and off site support for Russet customers.”

Andrew Blevins, Liberty’s managing director, said that Russet’s and Invicta’s move is a great endorsement for the park. “Their original commitment to the ground floor of the building was the largest commercial property transaction in Kent last year and we are delighted to be able to organise the extra space for them this year,” he said.

“Our investment in the quality refurbishment of the building has proved a success and a great benefit to our new tenants.”
