Odyssey Business Park acquired for close to £40 million

In an off market transaction, La Salle Investment Management have acquired the freehold interest in the 140,000 sq ft Odyssey Business Park in South Ruislip for close to £40 million from US private equity firm Westbrook. Hanover Green acted for LSIM on the purchase.

The business park which is within 2 minutes walk of the South Ruislip Central Line and National Rail station, consists of four buildings and is let to tenants including: NEC Corporation, which has 50,000 sq ft of space for its headquarters; The BBC, which lets 20,000 sq ft for a post production and editing facility; Yakult and Pioneer Corporation. There is currently 21,000 sq ft of Grade A space available in Artemis, one of the four buildings, the others being Athene, Apollo and Anteros.

Hanover Green acted on the purchase and are letting agents for the 21,000 sq ft of available and just refurbished space quoting a rent of £24.50 psf.
