    Over 30 years’ experience in the central London lease advisory market. Specialising in the negotiation of rent reviews, lease surrenders, lease renewals and regearing, together with agency and development advice.

  • Career History

    Started at the Greater London Council in 1983 before joining Debenham Tewson & Chinnocks as an asset manager in 1985. Moved to Chesterton as a director of their lease advisory team in 1988. Joined CB Hillier Parker in 1997 as Head of West End Professional, moving to Hodnett Martin Smith in 2001 until their sale to DTZ in 2005. Worked as a director of their West End professional advisory services team before jointly forming Hanover Green in 2009. Became a consultant of the practice in 2016.

    Rent Reviews – Caxton House, Tothill Street, London SW1
    Advised Henderson/Aviva Investors on rent review negotiation and restructuring involving a 200,000 sq ft office building.

    Rent Reviews – 1 Palace Street, London SW1
    Advised Egal Ahouvi on rent review negotiation and restructuring amounting to 170,000 sq ft.

    Rent Reviews – Colgrave House, London W1
    Advised on all of Arcadia’s central London offices, including Colgrave House, comprising 130,000 sq ft.

    Rent Reviews – The Point, Waterside, Paddington Basin
    Advised Marks & Spencer on rent review of 230,000 sq ft and 80,000 sq ft.

    Rent Reviews – Caxton House, Millbank and Wingate House
    Advised M&G Real Estate on rent reviews involving Caxton House (200,000 sq ft), 9 Millbank (120,000 sq ft) and Wingate House (40,000 sq ft).

    Rent Reviews – 23 Howland Street, London W1
    Advised London Merchant Securities on 150,000 sq ft rent review, let to Saatchi & Saatchi. Rent review negotiation, preparation of submissions and counter submissions, and later a full oral hearing.

On behalf of Kames Capital, Hanover Green have let circa 5,500 sq ft to Hospitality Line Ltd on part ground floor Central Court, Orpington.

On behalf of UBS Global Asset Management, Hanover Green have let circa 6,500 sq ft on the 4th floor of Knollys House, Croydon.

Acting on behalf of L&G, HGR have agreed both Vapiano and Wahacca’s setting a new benchmark for restaurant rates on the street.
