  • Career History

    Started in 1986 at the Crown Estate for three years before joining St Quintin (now part of CBRE) in 1989. Moved to Nelson Bakewell in 1999 as head of the central London investment team. Jointly formed Hanover Green in 2009, becoming a consultant in 2018.

    Acquisition - 120 New Cavendish Street, W1
    Advised Westminster University on a 32,500 sq ft owner occupation of part vacant office for £44 million.

    Acquisition - Company acquisition holding 3 investment properties in Central London for Shaftesbury for c.£10 million.

    Acquisition – Old Jewry, EC2
    Advised Staffordshire County Council Pension Fund on the off market acquisition of a multi let office building subject to a short unexpired long leasehold interest. Acquired for c.£20 million.

    Added Value Consultancy on £300 million London property portfolio
    Creation of individual business plans, working out strategies, supervising and following through on recommendations including development management adding significant long term value to the portfolio.

    Pre-Development Disposal & Development Consultancy - Oxford Street / Wardour Street
    Advised Resolution Property on a 150,000 sq ft retail/office/residential development known as Ampersand and The Hat Factory for £121 million.

    Acquisition – 41 Eastcheap, EC3
    Advised Royal London Asset Management on the acquisition of a multi let office building for £20 million.

    Disposal - Paramount House, Wardour Street, W1
    Advised Resolution Property on the mixed use 21,500 sq ft investment. Sold for part residential conversion for c.£12 million.

    Swap - Long Acre / Henrietta Street / Southampton Street, WC2
    Advised CIS and Capital & Counties on a swap of two mixed use 20,000 sq ft properties one investment and one development for notional c.£18 million.

    Disposal - Covent Garden Portfolio, WC2
    Advised ING on 11 mixed use buildings 210,000 sq ft investment for c.£120 million.

    Disposal - Golden Quadrant Portfolio
    Advised Royal London on the mixed use 13,500 sq ft investment for c.£7 million.

    Acquisition - Covent Garden Market, WC2
    Advised Capital & Counties on an iconic 451,000 sq ft Central London mixed use investment for £421 million.

    Disposal - Leicester Square, WC2
    Advised AXA REIM on the mixed use 26,500 sq ft investment with vacant upper floors for c.£18 million.

    Acquisition - Royal Opera House, WC2
    Advised Capital & Counties on the acquisition of 17 prime retail units on James Street and Covent Garden Market Piazza for c.£127 million. Ongoing acquisition of many other smaller properties.

    Disposal - Smith Square
    Advised a Private Client on vacant office / residential opportunity 25,000 sq ft development. Sold to European Parliament for c.£20 million.

    Acquisition - New Oxford Street / Bucknall Street
    Advised AXA REIM on the mixed use 40,000 sq ft for c.£17 million.

    Disposal - Tothill Street, SW1
    Advised Gracemark / GE on the 60,000 sq ft office investment for c.£58 million.

    Disposal - Ashdown House, Victoria Street, SW1
    Advised The Church Commissioners on the 220,000 sq ft office and retail investment for c.£135 million.

On behalf of Kames Capital, Hanover Green have let circa 5,500 sq ft to Hospitality Line Ltd on part ground floor Central Court, Orpington.

On behalf of UBS Global Asset Management, Hanover Green have let circa 6,500 sq ft on the 4th floor of Knollys House, Croydon.

Acting on behalf of L&G, HGR have agreed both Vapiano and Wahacca’s setting a new benchmark for restaurant rates on the street.
