Retail Team Let 27 Bruton Place to Former National Chef of the Year

Hanover Green Retail have successfully let 27 Bruton Place, London W1 to the Former National Chef of the Year Larry Jayasekara. Jayasekara will launch the as-yet-unnamed restaurant in partnership with art dealer Tim Jefferies, who runs Hamiltons Gallery in Mayfair.

The space comprises c.3,000 sq. ft. set over four floors within the historic Bruton Place Mews Building. This site and a small new deli concept will be extensively remodelled before opening, with the restaurant expected to launch in the early autumn.

Larry Jayasekara’s early career saw him work at the three Michelin-starred Waterside Inn as chef de partie; Michel Bras in Route de Laguiole; and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. In 2015 he joined Gordon Ramsay’s Pétrus as senior sous chef. In 2016, he won the Craft Guild National Chef of the Year Award, and was promoted to head chef at Pétrus shortly after.
