Sale of Former Saville Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue

On behalf of the private vendor, Hanover Green have completed the sale of the former Saville Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue to Yoo Capital for a price in the region of £30m. The theatre was used in the 1960s by Beatles manager Brian Epstein to showcase acts like Chuck Berry and the Rolling Stones, and ‘Hello Goodbye’ was recorded there in 1967. In the 1970s it became a cinema.

Hanover Green and Lawrence Stephens Limited represented the vendor and KLM Real Estate, Fladgate and Weil, and Gotshal & Manges acted on behalf of Yoo Capital.
