Shaftesbury signs Clarks for first-ever standalone store in Soho
Shaftesbury has signed British shoe brand Clarks Originals for its first permanent standalone store in London.
The new 500 sq ft concept store at 32 Berwick Street in Soho will be the first of its kind for the brand and offers both men’s and women’s styles.
Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Shaftesbury, said: “We are pleased to welcome Clarks Originals to Soho. Respected for their authenticity the Clarks Originals brand complements the existing diverse community of considered and independent brands for the fashion-conscious Soho shopper.”
Clarks joins existing menswear tenants in Soho including Oliver Spencer, Swedish denim brand Nudie, independent modern workwear from Universal Works, Sandqvist and independent brand specialists OTHER/shop.
The Soho area saw various high-profile openings in 2017 including flagship stores from Fiorucci and Champion while Drake opened OVO (October’s Very Own).
Hanover Green Retail acted on behalf of Shaftesbury.
