Crown Estate buy in headlease on 1 Carlton House Terrace for £15 million

Acting on behalf of the Crown Estate, Hanover Green have negotiated the surrender of a lease with 38 years remaining on the term having initially been instructed to deal with the geared rent review. The lease was held by the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining who have now found more suitable alternative premises.

The surrender of the lease was contingent on the receipt of planning consent for a new 20,000 sq ft residential conversion. This has now been obtained triggering the completion of the deal.
